In Honor of Lori Ford Noone

About Your Donation
The Basser Center for BRCA was established at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center in 2012. It is the first comprehensive center for the research, treatment, and prevention of BRCA-related cancers. All donations made in honor of Lori will go towards BRCA research for breast and ovarian cancers, a cause she was very passionate about. Lori participated in various groundbreaking studies to help with early research efforts of the BRCA gene. Over the past 6 years, research developments and new medicines helped Lori not only live a longer life, but improved her quality of life.

Lori's daughter Maura is a patient at Penn and a member of the Basser Young Leadership Council, which serves as a forum for young adults to become more engaged with the mission of the Basser Center, stay informed about the latest advances in BRCA-related cancer research, and advocate and raise awareness of the Center. Through personal philanthropy and fundraising events, this committed group supports innovative BRCA-related cancer research, patient care, and educational priorities.

If you wish to donate by check, please make checks payable to "Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania" and mail to Basser Center for BRCA Development, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Please remember to write "In memory of Lori Noone" on the memo line of the check.
