CASTLEMAN WARRIORS' RIDE FOR A CURE

WHAT IS CASTLEMAN DISEASE?
Castleman disease (CD) is a rare inflammatory disorder that occurs in people of all ages. It causes hyper-activation of the immune system which often results in multiple-organ dysfunction, leading to death within 3-10 years of diagnosis.
OUR MISSION
The Castleman Disease Collaborative Network (CDCN) is a global initiative dedicated to accelerating research and treatment for Castleman disease (CD) to improve survival for all patients with CD. We work to achieve this by facilitating collaboration among the global research community, mobilizing resources, strategically investing in high-impact research, and supporting patients and their loved ones.

CD describes a group of inflammatory disorders that vary from a single enlarged lymph node to life-threatening multiple organ failure. CD is diagnosed in approximately 4,300 to 5,200 patients of all ages each year in the U.S.

Virtual Cyclist
Can't make it to the in-person event, but still want to join us virtually? No problem!

The ODC will hold a virtual spin class in advance of June 11th (exact date TBD) for participants who are unable to join us at the MDBR.

We also encourage Virtual Cyclists to join our Strava Club to track your progress!

Registration for this virtual option is free. However, a $10 donation is suggested to TEAM Castleman. 100% of your donation will be added to our team's fundraising efforts.

All donations will be matched 100% by Penn's Orphan Disease Center. Penn will match dollar for dollar so that we can double our research impact from funds raised through this ride.
