Here's a little info about A Love for Life:
We are dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer. We celebrate Life & Fun & Adventure while raising money for this important cause. The organization is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, originally founded in honor of Kevin Edmonds and his sister Nora Edmonds, each was diagnosed at age 49 and passed away at age 51.

The current life expectancy for a stage IV pancreatic cancer patient is 180 days. We are going to improve that number for current and future patients and we are grateful for any amount you may wish to give. Should you wish to join this effort in honor of someone you love or are considering corporate sponsorship, just contact Christine Edmonds at christine@aloveforlife.us

Our website is www.aloveforlife.us
We give 100%
This Penn Giving Page connects directly with the pancreatic cancer research fund that we have set up at Penn. We are the largest single donors to this cause and hope to meet our Million Dollar 10 year goal in the coming months. We do not take any percentage of your donation for administrative or marketing costs. We are an all-volunteer Board and welcome anyone who has been affected by pancreatic cancer to join our cause!
Make a Difference.
Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States. There are over 44,000 new cases each year, and few standard treatment options. The five-year survival rate is only 13%, making it one of the deadliest cancers. There are still no early detection tools that are effective in finding pancreatic cancer in its early stages. We want to help fund research that will help change these statistics, and offer hope to those who are affected by this disease, and those who will face this challenge in the future.
